My Journey: From Tourist to True Local

I started my travels just like anyone else, following popular guides and visiting well-known tourist spots. But after exploring more than 90 cities, I discovered that the real heart of a destination isn't found in guidebooks. It is found in local markets, hidden eateries, family-run restaurants, and street food stalls.

By making friends with locals, observing where they eat, and learning what they order, I uncovered authentic flavours and experiences that most travellers never find. Along the way, I realized that one of the biggest questions every traveller faces is simply: what to eat?

That's why I created Notitia. From street food stalls in Bangkok and night markets in Taipei to local cafés in Seoul and family-run restaurants in Tokyo, Notitia helps travellers discover what to eat and where locals actually eat. My goal is to help you skip the tourist traps and experience the true culture of every destination through authentic food and genuine local connections.
